Keeping up with the rapid pace of AI development is not easy - how do we govern something that changes faster than we can learn about it? That’s why we’ve come together.
I started CLAIR after a series of off-the-record conversations with peers across the compliance and risk landscape. It became clear that everyone was grappling with the same urgent challenge: how to govern AI in a world without a playbook. CLAIR is the answer to that; a private, vendor-neutral space to share what’s actually working and built the playbook, together.
A message from our founder
Having worked hands-on in AI and machine learning since 2013, I have seen the technology through an incredible period of transformation. Starting my AI career at Microsoft during the first wave of conversational AI, I've spent more than a decade working closely with organizations in for-profit and non-profit sectors to implement tailored digital transformation projects using AI and cloud computing to drive business outcomes.
In the last few years we have seen a seismic shift in what technology is capable of. The question is no longer what AI can do, but how we balance superintelligent machines and people. What used to be "an IT problem" is now everyone's playground -- and everyone's responsibility. We all have a role to play in AI governance, and CLAIR is here to help you with yours.
